Biography
Rune Temte is a Norwegian actor. Born on 29 September 1965 in Solbergelva, Nedre Eiker, he played professional football for Strømsgodset before training at Drama Studio London and pursuing acting from 1993.
He has worked extensively in Scandinavian theatre and television, and gained international recognition for his role as Ubba in the series The Last Kingdom (2015). Temte appeared as Bjørn the Norwegian Coach in the film Eddie the Eagle (2016) and as Bron-Char in Captain Marvel (2019). Other credits include Heavy Trip (2018), A Boy Called Christmas (2021) and Time Bandits (2024). He has also produced theatre productions and films.
