Biography
Ruta Gedmintas is a British actress. She was born on 23 August 1983 in Canterbury, Kent, and trained at the Drama Centre London under Reuven Adiv.
Her television credits include Elizabeth Blount in The Tudors (2007), Frankie in Lip Service (2010–2012), Dutch Velders in The Strain (2014–2017), and Serafina Pekkala in His Dark Materials (2019–2022). Film roles include Betty in A Street Cat Named Bob (2016) and the WWII Scientist in The Gorge (2025). She has also appeared in The Borgias (2011) and Ripper Street (2012).
