Biography
Rutger Hoedemaekers is a Dutch composer and producer. Born in 1976 in Nijmegen, he began making electronic compositions as a pre-teen and studied composition for a year at the Royal Conservatory in The Hague.
He has written scores for the Icelandic series Trapped (2015–2022, initially in collaboration with Jóhann Jóhannsson and Hildur Guðnadóttir), the series No Man's Land (2020), and Angelina Jolie's feature Without Blood (2024). He contributed to Last and First Men (2020) and released the album The Age of Oddities in 2021 on the 130701 label. Earlier work includes additional music for The Mercy (2018).
