Biography
Ruth Dwyer was an American actress. She appeared in a number of silent films in the 1920s, most notably as Buster Keaton's leading lady in Seven Chances (1925).
Her other silent credits include The Stealers (1920), Second Hand Love (1923), The Reckless Age (1924) and A Perfect Gentleman (1928). She largely retired from leading roles after 1928 but took uncredited parts in several sound films, including For Me and My Gal (1942).
Dwyer was married to actor and talent agent William Jackie. The couple ran the Ruth Dwyer Agency in San Francisco.
