Biography
Ryan Crego is an American animator, writer, producer and director. He began his career as a storyboard artist at DreamWorks Animation, contributing to films including Puss in Boots (2011) and Kung Fu Panda 2 (2011).
Crego later moved into television, serving as executive producer and showrunner on the Netflix series Home: Adventures with Tip & Oh (2016–2018). He directed, co-wrote and executive produced the Netflix animated musical Arlo the Alligator Boy (2021), for which he received an Emmy nomination, and created the follow-up series I Heart Arlo (2021). He is also known for directing and co-writing Gabby's Dollhouse: The Movie (2025).
