Biography
Sabine Hviid is a Danish production designer. Born in Copenhagen in 1976, she trained at the National Film and Television School in London, receiving an MA in Production Design in 2003 and the Kodak Award for best production design.
She has worked on numerous Danish and international features and series. Her credits include When Animals Dream (2014), Darkland (2017), A Perfectly Normal Family (2020), Another Round (2020), Speak No Evil (2022) and Woman Unknown (2026). She won Robert Awards for best production design for When Animals Dream and A Day Will Come (2017), and received a nomination for Another Round.
Hviid has also been awarded grants and prizes by the Danish Arts Foundation and the Nordic Film Commission.
