Biography
Sabrina Scharf Schiller (born Sandra Mae Trentman) is an American actress who appeared in films and on television from 1965 to 1975. Born in Delphos, Ohio, she moved with her mother to Arizona and later worked as a theatrical assistant in New York before becoming a Playboy Bunny. She trained at the Neighborhood Playhouse and began her screen career with guest roles on series including Gidget.
She is known for her role as Sarah in the 1969 film Easy Rider and as Miramanee in the Star Trek episode "The Paradise Syndrome" (1968). Other credits include appearances in Hells Angels on Wheels (1967), The Man from U.N.C.L.E. (1966), I Dream of Jeannie (1968), Gunsmoke (1969) and Hawaii Five-O (1969–1971).
In 1968 she married television writer Bob Schiller; they had two children and remained married until his death in 2017. After retiring from acting in the 1970s, Scharf became an anti-pollution activist and stood unsuccessfully for the California State Senate in 1976. She qualified as an attorney in 1989 and worked in real estate law and development in the Los Angeles area.
