Biography
Sal Carino is a producer and production finance professional, also credited as Salvatore Carino. He began his career in film and television as a set builder while attending film school in New York, later working as a production assistant before moving into production finance and accounting.
He worked extensively with HBO on productions including six seasons of The Sopranos (1999–2007) and served as vice president of production finance before returning to freelance work. He later became a producer and co-producer on The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel (2017–2023) for Amazon Studios.
Earlier credits as a production accountant include Men in Black II (2002) and The Yards (2000). He has received two Primetime Emmy nominations.
