Biography
Sam Puefua is a Samoan-American actor, also credited as Sam T. Puefua. He was born in American Samoa, in the village of Pava'ia'i, and moved to California at the age of nine.
Puefua began acting after high school. His television credits include Kanoa Tupuola in Hawaii Five-0 (2016), Herman Pola in Lodge 49 (2018–2019), Hani Iona in Magnum, P.I. (2018) and Young Peter Maivia in Young Rock (2023). He plays the Village Fisherman in the 2026 film Moana.
He has also worked as a producer and director, including on the 2018 film MAMBA.
