Biography
Sama Al-Khateab is a Syrian child who appears as herself in the 2019 documentary film For Sama. The film, directed by her mother Waad al-Kateab and Edward Watts, is structured as a letter to Sama recounting the family's experiences during the Syrian uprising and the siege of Aleppo, where Sama was born in January 2016.
