Biography
Sandro Petraglia is an Italian screenwriter. Born in Rome on 19 April 1947, he began his career in the early 1970s as a film critic, writing for the magazine Ombre rosse, where he met his long-term collaborator Stefano Rulli.
Petraglia has written numerous screenplays for film and television, frequently in partnership with Rulli. His credits include The Stolen Children (1992), The Best of Youth (2003), Crime Novel (2005), My Brother Is an Only Child (2007) and Suburra (2015). He has received awards including David di Donatello and Nastro d'argento prizes for his screenwriting.
