Biography
Sara Risher is a film producer who worked extensively at New Line Cinema. She served as President of Production for over fifteen years and later as Chairman of Production from 1995 to 2002, overseeing the development and production of more than fifty films.
She received co-producer credit on A Nightmare on Elm Street (1984) and contributed to subsequent entries in the series, including A Nightmare on Elm Street Part 2: Freddy's Revenge (1985), A Nightmare on Elm Street 4: The Dream Master (1988) and Wes Craven's New Nightmare (1994), in which she also appeared as herself. Other credits include Hairspray (1988), Critters (1986), Raise Your Voice (2004) and Lila & Eve (2015). She later founded Chick Flick Productions.
