Biography
Satoru Matsuo (松尾諭) is a Japanese actor and voice actor. Born on 7 December 1975 in Amagasaki, Hyogo Prefecture, he moved to Tokyo in 2000 to pursue acting and made his film debut that year in Not Forgotten as a Japanese soldier.
He is known for his roles as Sannagi in the live-action Attack on Titan (2015) and Attack on Titan: End of the World (2015), and as Shūichi Izumi in Shin Godzilla (2016). Matsuo has appeared in numerous television dramas, including the SP series (2007–2011), NHK taiga drama Tenchijin (2009), and several asadora such as Teppan (2010–2011), Hiyokko (2017), Warotenka (2018) and Yell (2020). A 2022 television series, Lost Man Found, was based on his semi-autobiographical essays.
