Biography
Scott Macaulay is an American film producer based in New York. He co-founded the production company Forensic Films with Robin O’Hara in 1995 and has produced or executive-produced numerous independent features.
His credits include Gummo (1997), julien donkey-boy (1999), Raising Victor Vargas (2002), Saving Face (2004), Idlewild (2006), Casting JonBenet (2017), A Woman, A Part (2017) and The Assistant (2019). He is co-founder and was Editor-in-Chief of Filmmaker magazine for 33 years, and is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences.
