Biography
Sean Stanek is an American actor, director and writer, also credited as Sean Faro. His early acting credits include the role of Hot Rodder in the 1984 film Starman, a greaser in an episode of the television series The Wonder Years (1988), and an assistant director (as Sean Faro) in Dragon: The Bruce Lee Story (1993). Other appearances include uncredited work in Cannonball Run II (1984) and roles in Shade (2003) and Ed Gein: The Butcher of Plainfield (2007).
As a young man, Stanek performed as an acrobat in the Seven Alexander's teeterboard act, of which his parents were founders. He later worked as a visual effects coordinator on Titanic (1997). Stanek wrote and co-directed the feature A Crack in the Floor (2001) and wrote, directed and served as cinematographer on Played (2006), for which he received the Best Screenplay award at the 2007 Malibu Film Festival. He has also worked in motion capture production and direction for films and video games.
