Biography
Sean Van Hales is a British cinematographer and director of photography. His television credits include Cutting It (2002), Hotel Babylon (2006–2008), Call the Midwife, The Madame Blanc Mysteries (2021–2023), Inside No. 9 (2024) and Timewasters (2017–2019). Film work encompasses the Nativity series and Cruel Train (1996).
He received a Royal Television Society award for best lighting – drama for Cruel Train in 1997 and a nomination in the photography category for Hotel Babylon in 2006.
