Biography
Sen Yano (1928–2010) was a Japanese actor known for supporting roles in post-war Japanese cinema. Born on 11 February 1928 in Kotake, Fukuoka Prefecture, he appeared in numerous films from the late 1950s onwards, often in dramas and thrillers directed by figures such as Hiroshi Teshigahara.
His credits include The Human Condition II: Road to Eternity (1959), Pitfall (1962), Woman in the Dunes (1964) as a villager, The Face of Another (1966), Violence at Noon (1966), Shogun's Samurai: The Yagyu Clan Conspiracy (1978), The Bullet Train (1975) and A Taxing Woman's Return (1988). He died on 17 September 2010 in Bunkyo, Tokyo.
