Biography
Serge Klarsfeld is a Romanian-born French activist and historian. Born on 17 September 1935 in Bucharest, he has worked extensively to document the Holocaust and pursue the prosecution of Nazi war criminals and their collaborators.
He appeared as himself in the 1988 documentary Hôtel Terminus: The Life and Times of Klaus Barbie. Klarsfeld has contributed as a historical consultant and producer to several films and series on the subject, including The Round Up (2010) and Auschwitz: Inside the Nazi State (2005).
