Biography
Serge Korber (1936–2022) was a French film director, screenwriter and actor. He played Maurice, a lyricist, in Agnès Varda's Cléo from 5 to 7 (1962).
As a director he worked on comedies including The One Man Band (1970) and Perched on a Tree (1971), both starring Louis de Funès, and the drama Hearth Fires (1972). He also directed under the pseudonym John Thomas. Korber wrote the screenplay for Dog Day (1984) and contributed to many television films and series.
