Biography
Sergey Ivanov is a Russian film editor and director. Born in Leningrad in 1975, he has worked extensively in post-production on feature films and series.
Ivanov edited Alexander Sokurov’s Russian Ark (2002), a one-shot historical drama filmed in the Hermitage, as well as several other Sokurov films including Father and Son (2003), The Sun (2005), Alexandra (2007) and Silent Souls (2010). His credits also include Dovlatov (2018), for which he served as lead editor, and How Viktor "The Garlic" Took Alexey "The Stud" to the Nursing Home (2017).
He directed the feature Ya umeyu vyazat (2016).
