Biography
Shaghayegh Jowdat, also credited as Shaghayeh Djodat, is an Iranian actress. She was born in 1972 in Tehran and holds a bachelor's degree in theatre from Jahad Daneshgahi.
She began her film career in 1993 with Hamsar, directed by Mehdi Fakhimzadeh. Jowdat is known for her role as Gabbeh in Mohsen Makhmalbaf's Gabbeh (1996) and for appearing as herself in Salaam Cinema (1995). Her other credits include The Man with Two Thousand Faces (2009) and later films such as Boomerang (2024).
