Biography
Shah Rukh Khan is an Indian actor and film producer who works predominantly in Hindi cinema. He is also known by the initials SRK.
After appearing in the television series Fauji (1988) and Circus (1989), he made his feature film debut in the romantic drama Deewana (1992). He achieved early recognition in antagonistic roles in Baazigar (1993) and Darr (1993). Khan established himself with leading roles in romantic dramas including Dilwale Dulhania Le Jayenge (1995), Dil To Pagal Hai (1997) and Kuch Kuch Hota Hai (1998). Subsequent credits include Devdas (2002), Swades (2004), Chak De! India (2007) and My Name Is Khan (2010). As a producer, he co-founded Red Chillies Entertainment. In 2023 he starred in the action thrillers Pathaan and Jawan, and the social comedy-drama Dunki.
