Biography
Shahar Isaac is an Israeli-American actor. Born in Haifa, Israel, in February 1993, he is of Yemenite Jewish heritage. He moved to the United States and earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in acting from Rutgers University.
Isaac made his television debut in 2015, playing Tariq Al Juhani in an episode of Person of Interest. He appeared in the National Theatre Live production of Salomé (2017) and guest-starred in Madam Secretary (2018). He gained prominence for his main role as Simon Peter in the series The Chosen (2019–present). Other credits include The Good Fight (2022) as Zev Beker and Nemesis (2026) as Andrei Malakian.
