Biography
Shannon Kohli is a Canadian television director. She was born in Canada and raised primarily in Geneva, Switzerland, before returning to study film at the University of British Columbia, graduating with a BA in 2002.
Kohli began her career in technical roles, working for fifteen years as a camera operator and cinematographer on series including The Magicians. She directed short films and music videos before transitioning to full-time directing in 2018. Her credits include episodes of You (2018), Resident Alien (2021), Dirty John (2018), Firefly Lane (2022), One of Us Is Lying (2021) and Murder in a Small Town (2024). She made her feature debut with All Joking Aside (2020).
