Biography
Shannon Kook is a South African actor. Born Shannon Xiao Lóng Kook-Chun in Johannesburg on 9 February 1987, he trained at the National Theatre School of Canada in Montreal.
He began his career with guest roles in Canadian television series such as Being Erica (2009) and Durham County (2010). Kook gained recognition for his recurring role as Zane Park in Degrassi: The Next Generation (2010–11). He is known for portraying Jordan Green in The 100 (2018–20), Tony Swan in Reacher (2022–present), and Drew Thomas in the Conjuring film series (2013–25).
In 2014 Kook was selected as a Toronto International Film Festival Rising Star. He has also appeared in Dark Places (2015), A Christmas Horror Story (2015), Nancy Drew (2019–21) and The Mysterious Benedict Society (2021).
