Biography
Shaun Majumder is a Canadian actor and comedian. Born on 29 January 1972 in Toronto, he was raised in Burlington, Newfoundland. He began his career hosting children's programmes on YTV before working in stand-up comedy and taking small roles in film and television.
Majumder is best known for his seventeen seasons as a cast member on the CBC sketch series This Hour Has 22 Minutes (2003–2018), for which he shared a Gemini Award in 2006. His other credits include the film Harold & Kumar Go to White Castle (2004), the series 24 (2001) and Republic of Doyle (2010–2014), and the recurring role of Father Khatri in the horror series From (2022–).
He has also appeared in Star Trek: Strange New Worlds (2022) and Hudson & Rex (2019).
