Biography
Sheldon Lewis was an American actor who appeared in silent films and early sound productions. He began his career on the stage and made his film debut in 1914.
He is credited as Jacques Frochard in Orphans of the Storm (1921), directed by D. W. Griffith. Lewis appeared in more than ninety films between 1914 and 1936 and was often cast in antagonistic roles. He was married to actress Virginia Pearson from 1911 until their divorce in 1928.
