Biography
Shin Koyamada is a Japanese actor, producer and martial artist. He made his feature film debut as Nobutada in the 2003 Warner Bros. film The Last Samurai, opposite Tom Cruise. He later co-starred as Shen in the 2006 Disney Channel film Wendy Wu: Homecoming Warrior and appeared as Shinji Makito in an episode of the television series Jake 2.0 (2003).
Born in Okayama, Japan, in 1982, Koyamada moved to the United States in 2000. He studied in an ESL programme at the University of California, Riverside, before pursuing acting in Los Angeles. He has also worked as a producer through his company Shinca Entertainment and is involved in philanthropy via the Koyamada International Foundation.
