Biography
Shin Takuma (宅麻伸), real name Shigeharu Takuma (詫摩繁春), is a Japanese actor born on 18 April 1956 in Tamano, Okayama. He began his acting career in television, appearing in the TV Asahi drama series Edogawa Ranpo from 1978, with a formal debut in the TBS series Shichinin no Keiji in 1979. His film debut followed in 1982 with To Trap a Kidnapper.
Takuma is known for his roles in the Godzilla franchise, playing Hiroshi Okumura in The Return of Godzilla (1984) and Godzilla 1985 (1985), and Tokumitsu Yuhara in Godzilla Against Mechagodzilla (2002). He has appeared in numerous television dramas, including Shōgun (1980) as Naga, Gokusen (2002) and Survival Family (2017) as Ryozo Takahashi. He has remained active in both film and television.
