Biography
Shirlie Holliman, also known as Shirlie Kemp, is an English singer and actress. Born on 18 April 1962 in Bushey, Hertfordshire, she began her career as a backing singer and dancer for the pop duo Wham! in the early 1980s.
After Wham! disbanded in 1986, she formed the duo Pepsi & Shirlie with Helen DeMacque. The pair achieved UK chart success with singles including "Heartache" (1986) and "Goodbye Stranger" (1987). Holliman has made occasional acting appearances, including as a teacher in the 2008 short film Karma Magnet, and featured in archive footage in the 2023 documentary WHAM!. She has been married to musician and actor Martin Kemp since 1988.
