Biography
Sidney Jeanne Flanigan (born 19 October 1998) is an American actress and singer-songwriter from Buffalo, New York. She made her acting debut as Autumn in Eliza Hittman's independent drama Never Rarely Sometimes Always (2020), which premiered at Sundance and won the Silver Bear Grand Jury Prize at Berlin.
For the performance she received the Boston Society of Film Critics Award for Best Actress and the Chicago Film Critics Association Award for Most Promising Performer, among other honours, and was nominated for the Critics' Choice Movie Award for Best Actress and the Independent Spirit Award for Best Female Lead. Flanigan had previously performed as a musician in the Buffalo indie scene and with the band Starjuice.
