Biography
Sidney Glazier was an American film producer. Born in Philadelphia on 29 May 1916, he produced the documentary feature The Eleanor Roosevelt Story (1965), which won the Academy Award for Best Documentary Feature.
Glazier is best known for producing Mel Brooks’s The Producers (1968). He also served as executive producer on Woody Allen’s Take the Money and Run (1969) and Brooks’s The Twelve Chairs (1970). He died in Bennington, Vermont, on 14 December 2002.
