Biography
Silka Luisa is an American television writer, producer and showrunner. She created the Apple TV+ series Shining Girls (2022) and the Amazon Prime Video series Blade Runner 2099 (2026), on which she also wrote episodes and served as showrunner.
She grew up in Miami, Florida, and earned an MFA in film from Columbia University School of the Arts in 2011. Earlier credits include writing and consulting producer roles on Strange Angel (2018), and writer and supervising producer on Halo (2022).
