Biography
Silvana Jachino was an Italian actress who appeared in approximately 65 films between 1936 and 1970.
Born in Milan on 2 February 1916, she was the daughter of composer Carlo Jachino. She worked in both theatre and cinema, gaining popularity in the 1930s and 1940s before taking supporting roles in later decades. Her film credits include Cavalleria (1936), The Black Corsair (1938) and Dolores in Federico Fellini's Juliet of the Spirits (1965).
She was married to Guido Cingoli. Widowed, she moved to a retirement home near Rimini and died there on 28 August 2004, aged 88.
