Biography
Simmie Sims III, professionally known as Buddy, is an American rapper, singer and actor. Born on 10 September 1993 in Compton, California, he began performing in musicals and plays as a child before transitioning into music and later screen roles.
He is best known for acting appearances in the films Dope (2015) and Gully (2019), and the series Rap Sh!t (2023) and Bel-Air (2022). In 2026 he plays the rapper Artillery in the FX series The Drop: A Snowfall Saga.
