Biography
Simone Paris (1909–1985) was a French stage and film actress. Born Simone Marie-Thérèse Maderon in Paris, she appeared in films from the late 1930s to the 1970s.
She is known for roles including Yvonne in Bob le Flambeur (1956), the headmistress in A Man and a Woman (1966), Émilienne de Beaugency in The Count of Monte Cristo (1954), and the landlady in Love at Sea (1965). Other credits include The Italian Straw Hat (1941) and Napoleon (1955).
Paris also worked in theatre and published memoirs titled Paris sur l’oreiller in 1977. She was married to actor Samson Fainsilber.
