Biography
Sixto Rodriguez is a Puerto Rican actor and former professional boxer. Born on 17 April 1937 in Manati, Puerto Rico, he competed as a light-heavyweight, winning the California Lightheavyweight Boxing Championship from 1958 to 1962 under the ring name Kid Sixto Noriega.
Rodriguez is known for his role as the aging Mexican fighter Arcadio Lucero in John Huston's Fat City (1972). Several real-life boxers appear in the film, including Rodriguez alongside Art Aragon and Curtis Cokes.
