Biography
Sjur Aarthun is a Norwegian cinematographer and editor. He worked as both cinematographer and editor on the disaster thriller The Tunnel (2019).
His editing credits include Kraken (2026), Dark Windows (2023), NightMare (2022) and Dark Woods II (2015). As cinematographer he has worked on films including Dark Woods II (2015) and Leave (2022), as well as television series such as Pørni (2021–2024) and Home Ground (2018). He received an Amanda Award nomination for Best Cinematography for Dark Woods II.
Aarthun co-founded the production company Handmade Films in Norwegian Woods in 2013.
