Biography
Skylar Gaertner is an American actor. He began appearing in television commercials at the age of three and was selected by Steven Spielberg for the role of Bode Locke in the 2011 television pilot Locke & Key.
Gaertner is best known for playing Jonah Byrde in the Netflix series Ozark (2017–2022) and young Matt Murdock in the series Daredevil (2015). His other credits include roles in The Americans (2013), Person of Interest (2011), CSI: Crime Scene Investigation (2000) and films such as They Came Together (2014) and I Smile Back (2015). He was part of the ensemble cast nominated for Screen Actors Guild Awards for Outstanding Performance by an Ensemble in a Drama Series for Ozark in 2019, 2021 and 2023.
