Biography
Sólveig Arnarsdóttir is an Icelandic actress born on 26 January 1973 in Iceland. She is the daughter of actors Arnar Jónsson and Þórhildur Þorleifsdóttir. She trained at the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin and has worked in theatre at the Icelandic National Theatre, the Icelandic Opera and the Maxim Gorki Theatre in Berlin.
She is known for her television roles as Halla in the series Trapped (2015–2019) and as Magnea in Katla (2021). Her film credits include Woman at War (2018), in which she played the mother of Sirrý, and Let Me Fall (2018). Arnarsdóttir has also appeared in several German television series.
