Biography
Sophie Duker is a British stand-up comedian and writer. Born in London in 1989 or 1990, she studied French and English at Wadham College, Oxford, where she joined the Oxford Imps improv group.
She began performing stand-up in the mid-2010s and was shortlisted for the Funny Women award in 2015. Duker has written for series including The Amazing World of Gumball (2011) and appeared as a panellist on shows such as Mock the Week (2005) and 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown. In 2022 she won the thirteenth series of Taskmaster (2015). She played Ellen in the 2025 film Deep Cover.
