Biography
Sophie Owens-Bender is a writer and former actress. She has contributed to several television series, including writing episodes of Mr. Mercedes (2017–2018), where she also served as staff writer and story editor, and From (2022–), for which she wrote one episode.
She worked as teleplay writer and executive story editor on The Institute (2025). Owens-Bender is the daughter of director Jack Bender. As a child, she appeared in the film Child's Play 3 (1991) and had an uncredited role in the series Lost (2006).
