Biography
Spencer Leigh (also credited as Spencer Lee) is an English actor born circa 1963 in Liverpool. He attended King David High School and joined the Everyman and Playhouse Youth Theatre, where he trained before entering professional work.
Leigh first gained attention as Icky Higson in the 1983 miniseries One Summer. In the 1980s he appeared in several films by Derek Jarman, including Caravaggio (1986) as Jerusaleme, The Last of England (1987) and Aria (1987). Other credits include Prick Up Your Ears (1987) and the first episode of Inspector Morse. He was noted as part of the Brit Pack of young British actors.
Leigh moved to the United States in the early 1990s and worked in television commercials and documentaries. He returned to acting with the role of Nunzio in the 2012 film Hitchcock.
