Biography
Stefano Accorsi is an Italian actor. Born in Bologna on 2 March 1971, he graduated from the city's theatrical school in 1993 and worked in theatre for several years before moving into cinema.
He first gained attention for his role in Jack Frusciante è uscito dal gruppo (1996) and received awards for his performance in Radiofreccia (1998). In 2001 he appeared in The Son's Room as Tommaso, The Last Kiss as Carlo and His Secret Life as Michele. Later credits include Romanzo Criminale (2005) as Commissario Scialoja. He has also received the Volpi Cup for Best Actor at the Venice Film Festival.
