Biography
Stella Quan Rossell was a Guatemalan actress, writer and anthropologist. She played the role of Josefita in the 1983 film El Norte.
Born in Guatemala City in 1935, she studied ethnology at the Escuela Nacional de Antropología e Historia in Mexico. She later taught gender studies and contributed articles to the feminist magazine Fem.
