Biography
Stephanie Kornick is a television, theatre and film writer. She served as a staff writer on the Amazon series Transparent (2014), writing two episodes across seasons three and four.
She previously worked in support roles on series including United States of Tara (2009), Are You There, Chelsea? (2012) and Mistresses (2013). Kornick holds an MFA in Screenwriting and Playwriting from Northwestern University and a BA in Musical Theatre from Marymount Manhattan College. Her feature screenplay Candy Darling is in pre-production.
Kornick has developed original projects with networks and studios including HBO and Universal Content Productions. Her play Small Talk premiered in Los Angeles and was later staged in Chicago. She is an Assistant Professor of Film and Television at the University of Colorado Denver.
