Biography
Stephen St. Leger is an Irish writer and director. He began working in the industry in the early 1990s and is credited as co-writer and co-director, with James Mather, of the 2012 science-fiction action film Lockout.
St. Leger has directed episodes of the History Channel series Vikings (2013), including twelve episodes between 2017 and 2020, and served as second unit director on earlier seasons. He has also directed episodes of Barbarians (2020) and Vikings: Valhalla (2022). In 2018 he received an IFTA nomination for Best Director in Drama for his work on Vikings.
