Biography
Steven V. Silver is a television cinematographer. He served as director of photography on The Big Bang Theory (2007–2019), working on 277 episodes including the pilot.
Silver has held the same role on other long-running series including Two and a Half Men (2003–2013, 223 episodes), Mom (2013–2021, 168 episodes) and Dharma & Greg (1997–2002, 118 episodes). He began his career as an assistant camera operator and camera operator, and directed one episode of Dharma & Greg.
He has received three Primetime Emmy Awards for Outstanding Cinematography for a Multi-Camera Series, for episodes of Two and a Half Men, along with multiple further nominations for his work on that series, The Big Bang Theory and Mom.
