Biography
Steve Hoefer is an American television director and former stage manager. He graduated from the University of Southern California with a degree in theatre, also studying film, television, communications and history.
Hoefer began his career as a tour guide at Universal Studios Hollywood. He worked as a production assistant on The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air and as a stage manager on Boy Meets World, where he made his directorial debut in the show's final season. He has been a member of the Directors Guild of America since 1992.
Since 2000, Hoefer has worked extensively with Nickelodeon, directing episodes of Drake & Josh (2004), Zoey 101 (2005), iCarly (2007), Victorious (2010), Sam & Cat (2013), Henry Danger (2014) and Game Shakers (2015). He also directed episodes of Disney Channel series including Jessie (2011) and A.N.T. Farm (2011).
