Biography
Steve Saint Leger is an Irish director and writer. He has directed episodes of the History series Vikings (2013), including twelve episodes between 2017 and 2020, and also served as second unit director on the production. He directed three episodes of the Netflix series Vikings: Valhalla (2022).
Saint Leger directed two episodes of the Netflix series Barbarians (2020) and two episodes of Brigands: The Quest for Gold (2024). He co-wrote and co-directed the feature film Lockout (2012). He received an IFTA nomination for Best Director Drama for his work on Vikings in 2018. His career as a writer and director dates back to 1993.
